Rod Phillips Joins TCBS Faculty

Please give a warm welcome to our new faculty member at The Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary!

Rod Phillips is a humble Sr. Pastor at Gateway Bible Church in Castro Valley, California privileged to teach, train, and practice Biblical Counseling in the local church. As a young man with a desire to serve and honor the Lord in all, the Lord impressed upon Rod’s heart and called him to Pastoral Ministry 35+ years ago, and has been Pastoring ever since. As he partook in the Charles Simeon Trust organization, Rod developed a passion for helping Pastors learn, grow, and develop their teaching skills. With proper equipping and shepherding, he saw it beared fruit in his life and those on the mission field. His joy is to do the same thing in a more local context; for example like here at TCBS, as he focuses his teaching on Biblical Exposition.
