By God’s grace, Dr. Ron Prosise is a husband, father, preacher, and servant-leader who brings a rare blend of pastoral ministry, academic training, theological instruction and distinguished military service to The Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary.

He received his doctorate in expository preaching from The Master’s Seminary, and his life of ministry reflects a deep commitment to Scripture, the local church, and shepherding God’s people through both ordinary and extraordinary trials.

In addition to his years in ministry, Ron has had a decorated military career distinguished by courageous service and pastoral care in some of the most demanding contexts imaginable. He has served in every branch of the U.S. military, first as an Army paratrooper, and later as a chaplain assigned to the Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force. His ministry has taken him to 58 countries around the world, serving military members, church leaders, and communities in times of hardship and conflict.

Ron is a veteran of the Iraq War, and his assignments and service have included: serving as an AFROTC Instructor of Moral Leadership; counseling survivors in Washington, D.C. immediately after 9/11; advising Ukrainian military leadership in the development of a Chaplain Corps; serving as Senior Advisor for the Ministry of Education in Iraq; ministering to wounded warriors at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany; participating in a chaplain exchange program with the Kingdom of Jordan military; serving as Chaplain for the CRUZEX Multinational Combat Exercise in Brazil; and most recently serving as keynote speaker for the Ukrainian Chaplain Conference in 2023.

Ron has taught ministry conferences in Grenada, Honduras, Ukraine, Bolivia, India and Ethiopia, and is an adjunct professor for Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology. He is the author of Preaching Illustrations from Church History, and Stronger: Seven Portraits of Spiritual Fortitude and When Your World Shatters—a unique biblical resource for those in crisis that has been translated into ten languages. His writing has served believers around the world with Scripture-shaped hope, strength, and wisdom.
