Jess Arnds

Jess Arnds serves as Lead Pastor of Grace Church of Napa Valley in Napa, California, a role he assumed in 2024. Raised on the Crazy Mountain Ranch in Shields Valley, Montana, he witnessed the gospel’s power firsthand when his parents, Tony and Tawny, were saved—instilling an enduring conviction in the sufficiency of God’s Word for all matters of life and godliness.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Counseling from The Master’s University and a Master of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary. After graduation, Pastor Arnds served seven years as Resident Director at his alma mater, discipling students through Scripture. He began pastoral ministry in 2016 at Providence Church in Duluth, Georgia, before relocating to Napa in 2021 as Associate Pastor.

He coordinates the Coalition of Christ-Exalting Churches, a Northern California network connecting like-minded Reformed congregations around the Doctrines of Grace, the Five Solas, expository preaching, and Scripture’s sufficiency—collaborating with pastors for church planting and revitalization. Pastor Arnds is married to Melissa, and they are blessed with three children: Felicity, John, and Addy.
